When you ask yourself what would be some good ways to make gold starting out, I always tell people about buying vendor pets to resell. With the pet battle system in Mists of Pandaria, the pet craze will be bigger than ever before. Although pets will be account bound, I still expect to see a huge increase in pet collectors out there. Below I listed a few of my favorite pets to buy and resell and where you can get them. Now I know there are more pets you can buy but these are by far my best sellers.

What pets would you recommend that perhaps are cheaper now "pre-pet battles" that you can't get from a vendor?
I'm thinking perhaps the different raptors, elementium Geode and maybe faction opposite pets.
Any others you'd recommend?
Well there's pets you can grind or farm like the disgusting oozeling or the captured firefly which sell really well. I was actually out in the Badlands a couple weeks ago farming leather off the whelps out there and got lucky. I looted a dark whelpling within about 15 minutes of farming and I wasn't even farming for the pet!
Those 3 bring in anywhere from 6-15k on my realm.
I have made over 10k just selling pets thanks to you lol. Amazing guides and help!

Holy crap, I tried a few of these on multiple servers. Added up across 7 servers I spent 740g on pets, and they sold for a total of 4100.
